Croft sets sights on Argentina tour

on 02/03/2013

Leicester Tigers' flanker Tom Croft has conceded that he is more likely to be on England's tour of Argentina come the summer than with the British & Irish Lions in Australia.

Croft was one of the standout performers on the Lions' 2009 tour of South Africa but after enduring a year where he has spent most of it on the sidelines through injury, Croft admits that his chances of touring with the Lions are slim.

"There's a Lions tour of Australia and an England tour to Argentina," Croft told the Rugby Paper. "My goal is probably to get on that England tour. After the injury I've had, if I could squeeze in a Six Nations match or two that would be a bonus. Then, if I can have a good run of form, I might get a call for Argentina."
