England call on McGeechan

on 01/16/2013

British & Irish Lions legend Sir Ian McGeechan will help England in their build-up to the Calcutta Cup clash with Scotland on February 2.

McGeechan, who is currently Leeds' executive chairman, will assist Stuart Lancaster and his coaching team in the week running up to their match against Scott Johnson's Scotland. And despite McGeechan's Scottish roots, the former Wasps and Bath coach is adamant that he will stay loyal to Lancaster's men.

McGeechan told the Daily Express: "It's a privilege to be asked and to be able to watch and to be allowed an insight, but I will not take that knowledge elsewhere."
