Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you The Amazing Azam

We've just published the latest feature from our resident satirst James Stafford in which he takes aim at Gloucester's Olivier Azam following his Oscar-worthy performance in his side's recent Heineken Cup clash with Cardiff Blues.

There's no doubting that the Gloucester hooker went down a little too easily when confronted by the Blues' Tom James and that incident was made all the more laughable today when the Frenchman showed how tough he really is. During the pulsating Premiership clash between Gloucester and London Irish at Kingsholm, Azam was hit head-on (quite literally) by the human cannon ball - aka Exiles No.8 Chris Hala'Ufia - with the kind of force that could have taken the roof off The Shed, but he managed to stand his ground. If you get a chance to see it then please do - or wait for it to appear on YouTube.

Anyway - James Stafford's contributions, under The East Terrace theme, have been very popular with our readers over the years and I'm glad to say he's been on form since his return to the Scrum.com stable. There was his Animal welfare groups outrage at 'canary' Welsh jersey piece that led to the Welsh Rugby Union asking us to clarify their kit was not made using canaries(!) and then there was his report on Bill Beaumont's decision to come out of retirement that was actually picked up by one outlet and run as a real news story!

Give his latest a look - I assure you it will brighten your day.
