Falcons circling Fraser McKenzie?

Reports in the Rugby Paper claim the Newcastle Falcons are keen on recruiting Sale's Fraser McKenzie ahead of next season.

Falcons boss Dean Richards has already bolstered his squad with the likes of Mike Blair, Rory Clegg and Adam Powell ahead of next season and could add the 25-year-old Scotsman to his ranks.

Bristol close in on Sean Holley

Bristol's director of rugby Andy Robinson has chosen Sean Holley to be his new head coach, according to the Rugby Paper.

Ex-Ospreys coach Holley has been working as a television pundit since leaving the region 14 months ago and spurned advances from Conancht and Worcester to take the post at Bristol, according to the newspaper.

Sir Geech's next port of call

Reports in The Rugby Paper suggest that Sir Ian McGeechan may take up a part-time consultancy role with Leeds Carnegie next season. Originally from Yorkshire, McGeechan is still to decide on his next post but the paper reports that Leeds have made tentative enquires to the Lions legend.

Falcons complete tenth signing

The Newcastle Falcons have completed the signing of Fijian versatile back Waisea Luveniyali. The Newcastle Journal claims that Luveniyali's arrival could mean that Jeremy Manning is off to pastures new.

Cross-code switch for Senior?

Keith Senior is set to make a cross-code switch and play for Leeds Carnegie next season, according to The Sun. The veteran rugby league legend has hinted at the possible switch in the past and would give the Championship side a physical presence.
