Nonu to become a Highlander?

The Highlanders have confirmed that they are in talks with All Blacks centre Ma'a Nonu and are optimistic that he will play for them next season. Nonu turned out for the Blues in the 2012 Super Rugby season and has cited family reasons for the move though the contract is yet to be agreed.

Blues coach John Kirwan hit out at Nonu's decision saying: "I am obviously disappointed. The lateness in the decision has really put us in a difficult situation, but we are going to have a young, exciting young team and we'll move on."
